steveSteven Kirshbaum

Steve received his Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.  He is a jazz and concert pianist and has performed in Boston, New York City and various other cities throughout the United States. He currently performs several nights a week at Bernard's Mediterranean Restaurant in Tyler.

Specializing in classical and jazz technique for the advanced piano student, Steve believes in a holistic approach to the piano, focusing on both note reading and an understanding of chord theory and improvisation so the student can really get inside the music!  He has a unique teaching gift that will bring out the best in each student, beginner to advanced!  Steve's father was conducter for the East Texas Symphony Orchestra in Tyler for over 20 years. We are delighted to have him join our staff as a classical and jazz piano and keyboard instructor.
